John Sedgwick - Co-Founder & Vice President
With over twenty years experience in technology start-ups, John Sedgwick has an established reputation in marketing, sales management, and business development. As VP of Sales for Multipoint Networks Inc., a pioneer in wireless data transmission, he established OEM and international distribution networks, offshore manufacturing agreements, and was instrumental in securing venture capital financing. Prior to Multipoint, Mr. Sedgwick established a group at California Microwave chartered to develop advanced multi-protocol RF systems that were the precursor to present day wireless Internet systems. In 1994, he founded and became President of Kb/Tel International which was sold to the national telephone carrier of Mexico, Telefonos de Mexico (Telmex). More recently, Mr. Sedgwick co-founded and served as a general partner of Virtual Founders, LLC and Virtual Founders Funds. Mr. Sedgwick holds a BSAE (Aeronautical Engineering) from San Jose State University.
